Built in 1967, the 12-story, 256-room, interior-corridor Holiday Inn features the Chesapeake Crab House restaurant, a complimentary on-site fitness center, and a seasonal outdoor pool. The hotel's 5 meeting rooms total approximately 12,000 sq. ft., highlighted by the 7,700-square foot Grand Ballroom. All of the hotel's meeting space, with the exception of the 3,200 sq. ft. Lobby Ballroom, is located on the ground level. The ground level includes 2 ballrooms and 3 boardrooms. The first level also features the Atrium Cafe, fitness center, and business center. All of the guestroooms are located on floors 2 through 12. The Holiday Inn offers both surface and deck parking for guests.
At 12 stories, and directly across the street from the Kanawha River, the Holiday Inn enjoys very favorable visibility from Kanawha Boulevard. Access is direct and simple from Kanawha Boulevard as well as Interstates 64 and 77. Equally important, access is convenient for airport travelers as they would take Airport Road to West Virginia-114 South for two miles, turn right on Kanawha Boulevard East and the hotel is located approximately 1.5 miles on the right.
